Question Audio Control Question

I am still researching my car computer and I am a bit confused about something.

In my research it appears that on board audio has audio control/equalization software in the drivers. Also, RR & CF FE have audio control/equalization software. I plan on using the Rockford Fosgate 3Sixty.2 and you know the control it offers. My question is will there be a fight for control between these three software packages? If I ever upgrade to a sound card will that increase my headache or am I over thinking this? Help please.

Thanks
Mal

There is not specifically going to be a fight over control of your audio. Just that any external processor will control/modify the sound that is give from the source. So any manipulation to the sound by the software will be sent the processor only to be manipulated again.
I personally leave any audio control from the software untouched to simplify things, and any modification I do will be at the processor, I use the alpine processor in stand alone mode, only because it's the most convenient for me. If you find on the fly adjustments to be easier on your embedded software, then you can make your major adjustments on your processor and your minor tweaks on the software. It's really up to you.

It's kind of like Chinese telephone- if you tweak the eq in rr, than the 3sixty will only see the tweaked signal, and will apply whatever settings you want it to.

I agree with pancit- don't use any other eq programs in the computer if you will be using the 3sixty. It will just make it easier, and will preserve the quality of the audio better
