Arrow Quest for Sound Quality with limitations

I've been trying to nut out the best solution to my delimma, I've posted comments in the following places but none have resolved my issue, so I am attempting it here once again.

For reference see these threads

Ref #118

Ref #1262

Ref #171

The lack of optical car amps doesnt help either with my issue otherwise I think I could have solved it via an optical amp like this one, but it's been discontinued and so I cant get one.

Ref #1

So the problem is I only have 1 x Audio output and a 1 x MIC input on my MB.

A Basic diagram of what I need to do is below

Take audio output from motherboard and feed this into the AUX of the HQCT, then take the 4 channel output of the HQCT-e and fee this into my AMPS.

The only thing I need to to get Centrafuse to siwtch the HQCT to AUX and then when choosing Radio, switch to radio and vice-versa.

I do have a SPDIF (which I dont think I can get a digital signal from the HQCT)??so at present I'm not using this, unless there is a way to get one of these Digital AMPS, i may solve my problem by the similar steps above, but change the AUDIO jack on the PC.

PC jack changed to an input, feed HQCT to this MB converted input and use the SPDIF as a digital output to a digital AMP - this would be problem solved.

So in summary, the paths I could take is

[1] Get someone to write some code for HQCT to work in CF and source switch when radio on and then switch to AUX when radio off - sent email to Datalex (makers of HQCT)
[2] Find the above AMP or similar with a optical or coaxial digital input
[3] Change motherboard completely to have Audio inputs and output with MIC like a zotac Atom 330 basic review of the board

Can anyone assist with this or is this a lost cause?

Here's the start of an idea for a plugin that handles the HQCT switching: This is based on the assumption that you have an application or code that will interface with the HQCT to make the actual switch.

!. Create a plugin that starts a timer. If you want, add a user interface with two buttons to do manual switching.
2. The timer checks to determine what plugin or module is currently open once every second.
3. If the radio module is open, execute the HQCT code to set the input to HQCT, otherwise, set the input to AUX.

That's really all there is to it. You could do it in a seperate execution thread if you like, but this is pretty light weight so I don't know that its really necessary.

Is something like this what you're looking for?
