Yeah sure im looking into this now.... or have been a for a few months even
im looking at using a Huappage Dec 2000 , this is a stand alone or external box that has the benefits of two types of outputs, one is scart so you cn display the tv signal directly to a composite screen, or even a lilliput or xenarc in comp mode or even fees this into the pc if you have a video capturing method installed, the other is usb II output perfect for capturing and viewing the signals.
using the software that comes supplied with the reciever you will be able to watch digital tv and recieve analouge fm, not dab!, as for intergrating this app with any other third part software or embedding it im unsure if this is possible just yet. as for signal quality thats a different story , obviously the better the aerial the better the picture digital pictures will never fuxx they just work or they dont work , stick a 28 element terestrial aeril on your roof that'll work a treat! im unsure if normal tv amplifiers will work with digital tv signals are they compatable? if so then a nice high gain one with a 12v input will do you well!
