Sound system proposal. Need opinion

In my van, I have a very similar setup like this

So bascailly there is the two front seats, then there is a big TV with some space, then there are the rear seats in the back.

I am thinking if I could setup a 5.1 system just for the rear passenger. So the front left/right, and center speakers will be where the big TV is, then the rear speakers will be behind the rear seats. As for the front, I will just have a pair of left and right speakers.

I am thinking if I could mix the center channel into the left and right speaker for the front, and then have a seperate center channel for the rear passenger.

Do you guys think this would work ?

This is the ultimate shaggin' wagon. Chicks dig it.

To try to answer your question though, why would you even want to mix the center channel for the 2 front seat people? They can't see the TV, can they? If you still really want to mix the center channel into the L/R front speakers though, I don't see why it wouldn't work.

There are screens up front, but how would you go about mixing the center channel into the L/R and still retain a center channel for the rear ?

Would using a 2 in 1 adapter and connecting two RCA input be able to mix them into one channel ?
