I have same issue with my new after market Pio. Do I understand that the stock radio supplied power to the antenna. How much power do I need to feed the antenna, is that safe, I mean, wouldn't the power "go" to the radio through the antenna plug?

It's funny reading this thread, I used to have this REALLY crappy stock cassete/radio HU in my 93 Sable. I couldn't even pick up one of the stations when I was right next to the antenna for the station. I then got a Panasonic HU, and quality improved A LOT. Then when that one died, I bought a Pioneer Premier P350. The difference of radio quality between the Pan and the Pio is not even measureable imo.

Peace,

Rafster

Anyone want my FM Mod? Would not work with PDA so I had to get AUX in. Only used 2.5months. PM me, price negotiable
