need help finding?

I am looking for a new head unit I am willing to pay up to $400
some features I am interested in are as follows:
3 sets of RCA outputs f/r/s
at least 4V for the pre outs
many display color options
no internal amp since i will be using external amps
If you have any suggestions I would appreciate it.

I have a Panasonic CQ 8300N, it has 3 sets of outputs:front, rear, sub, 5V, 7 or 8 colours you can change, many sound adjusters, hi an low pass filters, bass engine, motorized face plate, plays mp3, screensaver, matrix display, but it has an internal amp. The only one that doesn't have an internal amp that I know of os the Alpine Phantom series. That one is cool, but a little expensive...

Why not use your computer touchscheen as the head unit? Use that $400 towards a usb soundcard(audigy nx2 will give you fader control) and a audio control matrix line driver(puts out 9.5v rms for the preout). This is the setup i have and my system pounds. Just a suggestion on what i would do since you are using external amps.

Thanks for the feedback!
I am new to the carpc idea I have been involved in car audio for a while now.
About the sound card is the quality as good as a head unit would be? 9.5V that sounds good, but for how many channels and also does it have a seperate one you could adjust from the screen like a head unit would have a sub output?

check out eclipse 5 series radio's. they even come with AUX inputs if you ever decide to get a PC

forgot to mention its just brushed aluminum and black with no color options. white lighting though, so you wont have to worry about green lighting witha blue car interior or anything like that

9.5v is overkill for most amps, i have mine dialed down to about 8v and my amp gains dialed all the way down...all the way. It has 3 channels out, front, rear, sub, but because of the high voltage you can use Y adapters with not negative results. I use the screen to control volume, and my memphis sub control to control my bass.

well i should not need any y adapters since it has f/r/s and sub.
Can you give me a link that has sound cards that are capable of putting out that voltage.
thanks again.
