decent budget subwoofer and mono amp?

Looking for a subwoofer and mono amp (to go together) for a sealed box setup

Not looking to spend a lot of money because Im honestly not that into car audio and wouldnt be able to tell the difference between an OK system and an awesome system

Any ideas?

I was thinking an Infinity Kappa 10" maybe but dont know what amp to use

i think the kappa need 300 watts and if that is the case i'd say get the jbl bp600.1 if u can find it. this amp would also be good if u ever decide to get another sub. i personally like infinity. i have 4 of the reference 12" on a jbl bp1200.1 and i've been beating the **** out of them for the past year and they still sound awsome and everyone can hear me coming

the 12" pioneer premier 2000spl sub has gotten awesome reviews and you can get it for $125 on ebay. it has a huge magnet and is pretty deep, if you can get away with mounting this id go with that.

Alpine type r's are really good for 100 bucks if you dont want to spend the $125

i couldnt get either of these because of mounting depth issues so i got a 12 image dynamics sub for $134 shipped from www.thezeb.com (on sale)

You're in Manhattan Beach? If you're feeling dangerous, go to the Slauson Swap Meet. You can get name brand/non-name brand stuff there pretty cheap. Plus you can haggle on price.

i'm not keeping it because i just purchased one and i'm only interested in the box. I'm not sure what model but there is the pic. in his post:

I'm not trying to screw you over, just tyrying to help you out bit (which will help me a little too) and since you dont want to spend a lot of money... this may be a good choice for you. If you dont want to get it, i'll probably still buy it off of him
