What do you think about JL's new amps??

What you guys think??? They seem like the perfect answer to the car pc issues. They take in any input from the rca's and put the same amount of power to the speakers no matter what.
THese amps seem to good to be true. Think about it. Pc's put out sucky signals from the pc itself probebly less than 1volt if I were to guess. But with one of these amps you will not be hindering the performance of it with a pc's input.
Am I on the right track here? What do you guys think?

I'm not sure how those features are new?
JL amps have always (well for the past few years) produced the same amount of power no matter what the voltage they see.....???

and that rips stuff has nothing to do with the input signal, it has to do with battery voltages and speaker impedences

er... depends on your soundcard a lot too.. mine puts out 5.5v and was enough to fry my alpine head unit.
So get good pc parts and you wont get a low line level

the thing about JL amps is that no matter what voltage they see going into them they will always put out the same amount of power. Most other amps out there on the market will vary in power output depending on the voltage in (lower voltage = lower wattage)
and fosgate does not rock....it's decent stuff, don't get me wrong here, but not on the same level as JL or Alpine IMO...

Thats exactly what I was saying. And yes they are talking about the input voltage of the rcs's also. No matter what input they get they will regulate it to the same amount of pwer. That makes them very user friendly in the fact that you will not burn it up or get hindered in performance because of a lacluster unput from a PC.
And yeah Fosgate sucks now in my mind
