I'm in the process of putting together my car PC system. Right now I have most of the basics in, but I haven't connected it to my existing audio system. I'm wondering how this is going to integrate.

Right now I have 2 12 inch Fosgate subs in the rear deck, and in each of the 4 doors I have a Jordan JX92S and a Jordan JX53. They're powered by a pair of Butler Tube Driver stereo amps - one drives the subs and the other drives the door speakers through a Zapco PX crossover. Basically, I only have 2 speakers - the drivers are just spread out.

The soundcard in the PC supports 5.1 or 7.1 audio. Here's my question: If this works like my home 5.1 system, when playing a stereo source only the right front and left front speakers play. In other words, while 5.1 DVD's will sound fine with the existing system (a little tweaking, of course, and a center channel addition) but when I switch to stereo I'm down to a pair of door speakers. I'm wondering if anyone has a creative solution to this situation. The only thing I've come up with so far is to simulate 5.1 through software.
