MP3 Noob

Currenly we have the standard AM/FM deck and stacker in our NL Pajero GLS....and it is absolute sh*^t.

Considering an MP3 head unit to replace the original but I have a few questions?

If you burn MP3's to a CD, therefore putting hundreds of them on there, will they play them?

Can you get one with a hard drive which will store the songs for you, without the need to carry an MP3 CD with you all the time?

I have heard you can get ones that will record from an input signal, ie CD or radio (with a delay so you can press record once you know what song is on the radio). Is this true?

Sorry if these seem silly Q's but I have no knowledge of MP3's and would quite like to go in this direction........once I know all I want to know!

Thanks,

Phil
