HU power loss

Hey guys, this is my first thread and I just want to say thanks for all the help because I have been reading for quite a while. So far every problem I came across has been discussed in this forum. So to everyone.

Ok, but now I am having a problem with my headunit (sony cdx-f7705x) The hu works perfect until I accelerate and turn at the same time, then the sound cuts out until I stop turning or let off the gas.

I wanna say its losing power, but I figure since I am accelerating shouldn't the engine be supplying more power? Also I have had many hu's in different cars and they have never had this problem.

The only thing that is differnet about this hu is when I had Brandsmart install it. For some reason they didn't have the right wiring harness, so the guy did it manually. It worked fine at first but now its doin this.

So if anyone can help, thanks a lot, if not I will just have to live with it.

is anything else in your car having similar symptoms like its losing power? lights dimming? etc.? if so, id say the charging system is starting to go. but im no car expert, so this is all speculation

Sounds like a loose connection to me. BTW, bumping your own thread in less than an hour is a bit overeager -- don't you think?

Rando- I think your right. The brandsmart guy probably did a ****y job of hookin it up. Because nothing else dims or shows any probs. I don't think it is the charging system because the car is only like 3 or 4 months old.

O and sorry for bumping so quick but I'm working on it now and really need some suggestions. So once it disappered off the new posts screen, I pretty much figured it would just get packed away never to be seen again .
