Audigy 2 NX line-in multiple speakers?

Has anyone found a way to get the line in to go to all the speakers not jsut the front 2? I've heard that you can do it but I cant find the setting. I know there was some trouble in getting the setting to remain on after restarting. Has there been any progress in that matter?

Turn CMSS on, and that's it. you are right that the setting has to reset after booting, and i don't know if there are any work arounds yet.

I thought I tried that. I'll have to go check again. Thanks.

CMSS works only for internal sound source (CD, DVD, WAV, MP3 and so on) NOT for line input.

Oh yeah. That's right. I knew I tried it already. So how can I make it work for line-in?

you could try this setup...

Split the audio coming out of your "line-in" device to get 2 sets of RCA's, and then use 2 of these:

http://www.tkk.fi/Misc/Electronics/c...linemixer.html

Then essentially bypass the soundcard, and use your line-in device all the time, and the audio would be merged with your PC audio...

Or buy a couple line mixers... ( )

The only problem is muting it, I would need more details on what your line-in device is to know if this would really work for you, but its worked for me before!

hope this helps....

SO then I would just run the line in straight into my amp? Volume control would be tough too. There are actually 2 line-in devices that I am using. One is an XM PCR the other is a TV/FM radio tuner.
