What should i get?

Hi everyone, my first post so be gentle!

Think i am going to sort the audio part of my car (Fiat Bravo HLX 1996) before i tackle the pc part, just wanted some of your valuable advice.

Atm i have a Pioneer cd HU (DEH-P6400R) and 2 sets of infinity 6.5" components (not installed yet). As i am a poor student i need to do the install in stages, i was thinking of first getting a 4 channel amp for 1 set of the infinity's and a 10 or 12" sub. 2 channels for the front spks and 2 bridged for the sub. Ok so far!!

Then when i next upgrade i would like another sub (same size) and to install the other set of components (in the front as well). I would then use the first 4-channel amp to drive ALL the components and then get another amp (maybe a mono) for the subs. What do you think?

I was hoping to spend about £250-£300 on the first upgrade, what sub and amp would you recommend?? i would like to keep the same brand speakers if possible.

You help is much appreciated

lgbr has a little shameless behaviour in the past
That's how I did it.

I first bought a 4-channel rockford fosgate amp to power my 4 speakers. I then bought two subwoofers, and bridged them on the rear channel. I then powered all 4 speakers off the front two channels (just two speakers into the same spots, real easy). Later I bought a mono subwoofer amplifier to power the subs.
