Looking in the wrong place

I've found lot's of good ideas and helpfull hints on how to weed out the alt. and engine noise going through the system, and managed to completely remove all whine. However, I know there's a way to make a "soft" shut down. I think it's the way I have the amps hooked up, but when I shut down the speakers make a loud pop/boom as if it's not grounded correctly. One amp poweres the subs and the other powers the speakers os I could use my phillips surround to run each channel individually, there's not deck. The amps share the same ground point while the computer is far forward and has a serperate ground. all my searches have resulted in more whine filter problems when this is something different I think, although it may be associated with ground it's a problem with shutdown. Any help pointing me in the right direction would be appreciated, thanks

Couldnt you put a delay on the computer so the amps turn off first? I know some computers put out a popping sound to speakers when they turn off, so maybe that is it, but I dont really know.

honestly, it must be the computer shutting down, because if I leave the pc on and shut the amps off first, there is only a snap rather than all the speakers punching as hard as they can... I'm using the the wire that turned the deck on when the ignition was on.. I'm wondering ifusing the 5v from a hacked up usb cable would be enough to turn onthe amp and shut it down when the computer is on, this way when I get a shut down chip and let the computer turn off, I won't even be in the car to hear if it does want to make a noise... I know the gain isn't turned p, but I will try to turn that down even more to see what happens.. I know it's some kind of loop problem
