On my sound blaster card, i have two output jacks.
In the manual it says both of these jacks can be hooked up to powered speakers or an external amp.
At the moment i have my amp powering my splits hooked up to one jack, and my amp that powers my sub hooked up to the second one.
My amps are doing all the crossover work.

Is it possible to set a crossover on my computer, so i can leave my subamp on full pass. Because i dont like the crossover settings on my sub amp.

Unfortunately The EQ that is provided in to control panels of Sound Card Drivers effects all channels of audio output. This means that any eq setting there will change the sound shape on all speakers.

So far I have not found any software that allows seperate equalization on each channel which is what is needed for car audio. All you can do at this point is install a multichannel graphic EQ on the outputs of the sound card, then connect the amps to the EQ.

If the sound card can output 5.1, thats 2 front, 2 rears, a centre channel and a sub.
This doesnt mean it it takes care of the crossover for the sub but does it?

I have the creative 5.1 sound card and the software that it came with allows the user to adjust the cutoff frequency, or crossover. If i'm correct, most of the onboard MB's sound cards, when configured in 5.1 doesnot have any option to do any type of crossover. So it all depends on the software that the sound card runs on.
