2005 Trailblazer and Ipod

Hey all,

I have a 2005 trailblazer LS with 6 disc bose cd changer, and XM radio. I want to know if there is a way i can plug my ipod into the head unit? I did this on my Honda Accord but i didnt have a changer or XM.

Does anyone have any recommendations?

ALso does anyone have any idea of how to take apart the dash and get to the back of the head unit on this truck???

THanks in advance!

I use a wired FM modulator in the 97 Suburban. Works well for me. I think a couple of web sites have adapters to use the changer interface as well.

If you didnt want to go with those fm modulated equiptment, I would have reccomended the iCruz, or ice<link equiptment. I dont think ice link makes anything for GMs but the iCruz does make equiptment you can check this site: http://www.monstercable.com/iCruze/c...or/default.asp

but it says:
"Must be CD changer capable and or have "Band" button in lower left corner of radio. In certain General Motors vehicles, connecting iCruze will disable factory XM or Rear Seat Entertainment, if equipped."

Other than that i'm out of quick ideas to do this with your factory radio. And for anyone who is interested in the ice<link equiptment, heres the link for you: http://www.densionusa.com/icelink_info.htm

FM mod works pretty good in our cars if you take your time and play with grounding it. I have an 03 envoy.

getting that center piece off is a total byatch. you have to remove the center consule, and that u-shaped carpet piece under the dash, theres 2 screws on the bottom of the dash piece.
BUT theres an easy way to do it, just grab the top vents and pull, the snaps will come out, the dash will bend out enough to get the radio out. ive only taken the piece off twice, its perfectly fine to just bend it back, never broken mine and i've done it a ton of times.
