I have some information about CD53 E46 BMW unit ,which i am not really sure about, but i guess it might help and I am contuoing in my search, and it states that this unit gets activated via K Bus through to the cluster and the the pin 7 on the plug of the head unit is K Bus pin,if any abody has any idea?!

As per i knew from some diagrams that pin7 on the back of the BMW radio (business class E46 cd53 ) is the I/K Bus pin and it get activation code from cluster instrument unit or IKE unit but that is when the unit is connected back into the vehicle but when it is out then we need the activation code to be injected to the unit thru I Bus adapter ,any comments or additing to what i have mentioned on this subject are most welcomed, thank you in advance
