ITX sp1300-> AMP wrong resistance?!?

Im begining to think that i have wrong Ohms from my carputer or something.

The sound is very high. and i have to set the sound bar in "play control" in the bottom on wave and play.

Its like the sound amplefies 10x to much :S

Any recomendation?!? =)

what kind of amp is it? sound card?

first thing is try lowering the gain on the amp.

then also depending on what kind of equipment you have. make sure you are going either balanced output -> balanced input on the amp or unbalanced output -> unbalanced input on the amp. make sure the setting is correct on both the amp and the sound card.

i use the intregated soundcard. One 3.5 mm Stereo jack --> rca -> Amp

im using a Branson amp not a common "brand" but i think it works great.

going from the onboard sound to the amp is generally not a good idea - the onboard sound usually has somewhere around .5v....most amps need AT LEAST 2v to be worth a damn...

if you have the gains turned way up, on top of this, the amplifier is just going to amplify any type of induced noise, making it extremely unpleasent for the ears

Thats was my though. well something about that.

Much Better sound and the right voltage maybe?

So the low voltage is the answear to the sensitive/high volume + the gain on the amp?

did you check the gains on your amp? were they up really high? deid you set them like that or did someone else?

Yes i did check it, Hmm dont se any Gain there. only some balance of the 1&2 and 3&4 channel output.

The sound is so very sensitive/high! I can record it so you can see for your self. Really strange.
More people out there wich is running the amp from the intregated Soundcard migh have same problem?!?

read something on here about some issue with the volume control in centrafuse, does it happen outside of front end?
