Angry Hu Help!!!!

Im trying to put in a clarion 10' sub in my 97 saab 900 s. The stock cd player doesn't have rca inputs so I got a walmart player for temp use. The ISO connectors weren't compatiable with the new cd player. So, I cut the connectors off and spliced wires together but I'm not getting any power to the cd player!! What do I do?????
