You won't have any luck hooking up the speakers behint the deck. You amp is in your trunk right by the antennal. Pull the carpet away and, Whala. wire colors-http://www.installdr.com/Harnesses/Ford-Wiring.pdf
We already hooked up the speakers. They were simple. That is where the stock amp is, yes.
We already tried that site and the colors are wrong for the heating system and of no use at all. Ford still can't get me the right wiring harness and I will just keep going to different junkyards until I find the right one.
It's been months, and I'm still not able to find this harness I need for my car. I'm going to explain a few things, including why it is so hard to find, and times when I thought I had fixed the problem but I hadn't.
- My "friend" yanked the harness, the stock harness that runs from the heating unit, while he was attempting to put a new aftermarket deck in for me. The harness that someone posted from this URL http://bestkits.com/SearchResults.as...000%20-%202003
that's just a harness that connects from the stock harness to the aftermarket system. The problem is the STOCK HARNESS - I have looked high and low and found nothing. I bought a harness from Ford and paid $80 for it, which wasnt the right harness. I couldnt take that one back because the label reads once its open it cant be returned.
Ive called Ford, who told me to call a wholesaler called Green Sales in the US, which didnt have the harness. Ive called lots of auto wreckers in Ontario and am still unable to find the harness.
Ford said they would fix the harness for me, which they wanted to charge me $100/hr for. This harness is so hard to find because its a digital one that is only in the tauruses with digital dashes - the SELs and etc.
If anyone has this Luxury wiring harness, the one for the diigtal display system, please let me know where I can find it.
Plz dont send me URLs of aftermarket harnesses which arent it. I likely will be taking a picture of the harness soon and posting it here

As mentioned before, cut the wires and connect them together.
And that link doesnt work because you didnt post it well.
Yes, I was able to re-solder many of the connections, but ALL of them need to be re-soldered to fix it. Others that are re-soldered, theres no way of knowing if they make a physical connection at the bottom of the harness because the pins are missing

The wires have been cut too short. Some of them are no longer in the harness; other ones are in there but the pins at the bottom aren't there.
I NEED TO REPLACE THE HARNESS OR PAY FORD $100 AN HOUR TO FIX IT.

Did you go to electrical school? Is that the best idea you have?
Did I insult you? Why are you insulting me ? You expect people to help you ?
WOW... kevinlekiller was only trying to cover all bases. If you're asking for help here, with that attitude you're not going to get much help. I know it can be frustrating, but dont bite the hand that feeds because we can bite back.

I'm sorry, I'm just so fed up with this problem. Ford has told me to take it to a ford dealership and pay $100/hr to have them fix it; they told me it would take 2-3 days so I'm looking at thousands to fix it
if I can't find a replacement harnesss soon I told Ford I'm likely going to trade the car away, which I likely will
Have you thought of completely re-pinning the harness you already have

If worst comes to worst, you can always use your own connectors. Just find any connector(both sides, male and female) with enough pins for all of the wires you have. Solder the male end to the circuit board of your aftermarket heat controls, and solder the female end to the wires in you dashboard. As long as you can figure out the wire colors and the pinouts, there shouldn't be any problems.
Here is a very badly drawn picture of what I mean:
Good Luck

That is a very good idea; the best one I have heard yet. Just a thought though - could I simply solder the wires that would connect to the wiring harness to the ones plugging into the connector on the other harness?
Or would it be too hard to figure out which connects to which? I think what I could do is take a look at how the connectors connect together and write down the wire colors that would be connecting to each connector and the connectors connecting the two wires; so instead of wiring up connectors can I just skip the whole process, figure out which connect to which and simply solder them together?
I like your idea on the soldering up the male and female connectors, but it sounds like a lot of work. Which I don't mind doing - but would this other idea be easier.
I have a pic of the connector for the EATC/Radio combo unit- hopefully it will help if you just need the color codes. I looked on the Motorcraft site for the 26 pin connector but they dont sell it seperately. You are stuck with the junkyard it looks like. BTW, the "basic" part number for your harness should be "19D570"...is that what they sold you? They will often take stuff back if it was sold in error and not installed...you might be ok?
Here is a small pic of the connector...the .PDF link has the pinouts for you

Its obvious this task is a bit overboard for you. All you are going to do is make it worse the more you mess with it. Maybe Ford is a little expensive but i doubt it will cost that much if you take it to a professional installer or auto repair.
Drop the tools, drop the credit card on the counter and let the pros fix it. At least you will be able to sleep at night.
Next time dont be so eager. The aftermarket installation gear would have cost you about $100 (new controls, harness and all).
