MidiLand ADS-3000 5.1 Rear speakers dont play HELP!?!
Well I did some research a while ago and found antimatters thread on true 5.1setups, read through the 10 or some odd pages to find my self reading about a very inexpensive / mediocre 5.1 setup by using MidiLand's ADS series DPS units. They are originally ment for home computer system to allow true DTS/prologic surround...
Well my setup is as follows:
2 Eclipse 12"
4 kicker RS comps
800watt 2 channel Rockford amp
400watt 4 channel Rockford amp
10 Fraud Stinger cap
1.2 fraud generic cap(for looks)
Epia M10000
ADS-3000 (with 6 RCA's out built into the unit it self) (center Speaker/amp coming soon...)
The issue is that nothing is output to my rear speaker during mp3 music (with stereo setting) in surround dolby setting they work but of course it sounds like **** when playing mp3's. I tested the speakers lines and everything its just the ads-3000 that isn’t outputting the signal unless in 5.1 mode.
I tried both the spdif (for digital) as well as the analog inputs on the ads-3000 and same damn scenario, the front and subs play in stero but not the rear when in Stereo selected mode and in prologic eveything works but sounds wied of course when playing anything other than dvd's.
Im hoping someone else out there has a like unit, that could assist me, or a DPS dolby sound guru that knows how these damn processors function?!?
Thanks in advance guys...
