Which would sound better?
OK guys i want some opinions. some of you might have first hand experience and the only way i can test is if i go out n buy this **** and i dont wanna waste money. OK. I wanna put some subs in my escalade but underneath the rear seat. I dont wanna take up the cargo area AT ALL! i just want something to add a little bass to accent my highs. Should i do 2-8s? 2-10s? or 2-6x9s? im thinking the 6by9 would take up less space and be easiest to make a box for them to fit under the seats. ive never owned a vehicle that needed 6x9s so im not too experienced with them. do you think the 6x9 will produce nice clean bass for my system? or should i go with the 8s or 10s?

Screw the 6x9s. Get some 8s or 10s and fiberglass them in. That will allow you use all of availible space. Trust me it will sound alot batter.

or if you really want to go small get a couple jl 6w0, a 6inch sub that still bumps. If you dont want too much "bump" get a infinity basslink, its not loud by any means, but it sounds good. If nuthing else, just a get a 10w6 or two.

If it's under the seat then no one is gonna see it. But if you make the bottom and maybe even sides out of FG, you use absolutly all of the space.

Sorry, subs are not my field.
Now batter, that's a different matter, pancakes, Yorkshire puddings I'm very good at testing them and giving my opinion on them

Forget the 6x9's. 8" subs are OK, they give your more bass than door speakers would, but IMO, 10's sound best. Make sure you get a quality sub if your getting subs 10" or smaller, I've had some bad expierences when buying basic Best Buy subs that size. JL Audio, and MTX both make reasonably priced and descent 10" subs.
I'd make your case out of fiberglass and then carpet over it, for a flush fit that doesn't attract attention, while having a leak-free box.

yeah, I just always get a headache when they're ported.
put a 10" in your tirewell(to not draw attention). I dont think you could fit much under a seat.
