Help with AAI-GM24 and Cd Changer

I am an idiot so thats out of the way. I think I shorted out my CD changer when trying to install my AAI-GM24. I have a 2003 Tahoe w/ indash cd changer and the CD/AUX button. There is nothing plug into the 12 plug spot in the back so I plugged it in and then didn't knwo what t do with the orange wire so I stuck it into the 24 pin with the B1 spot as told in directions. I guess you have to splice these together or something. Now my CD changer won't turn on. At first it clicked like it was struggling to load cds, now it won't do anything. Any advice on fixing it? I checked the fuses, all good.
