Angry Uh oh. No audio from my soundcard..

I think I blew up my soundcard. Me being stupid and all, neglected to remember to earth my carputer to my chassis. Now, for some reason (right after I solved the issue of noisy audio in my car from the PC), my soundcard won't output any audio. Has this happened to anyone else? Does anyone know what the go is? I suspect it calls for a new soundcard, which is a shame, as I only have one PCI slot that I can access (the PSU is mounted just about the rest of the slots) and the original soundcard was onboard.

Thoughts?

it'd help to describe your components, what motherboard do you have? are you sure it's the soundcard? have you hooked up headphones to the output jack to see if you're getting any audio? is the amp working?

<a href="http://us.dfi.com.tw/Product/xx_product_spec_details_r_us.jsp?PRODUCT_ID=1211&C ATEGORY_TYPE=MB&SITE=US">DFI WT70-EC</a> is the motherboard. I am quite sure it is the soundcard as I have tried it in multiple headphones, amps, etc.
