Running Amp During Crank?

Since the M1-ATX runs during crank, it still powers the Remote Amp On line, so the amp is running during the entire process (in theory playing music since the carpc might already be on). I'm thinking it's best to killt he Remote Amp On line during crank. Should I just setup a SPDT relay between the REmote Amp On line through the normally connected pin, and during crank pull the relay to temporarily turn off the amp? That seems like a very simple elegant solution. Of course this can be done through a solid-state setup using an optocoupler and P-channel MOSFET.

I think that most (if not all) car amplifers are designed for specific use in a car environment.....

....like, I think they are designed for variable input levels as to ensure engine crank survival

Well, my worry is not whether or not it will survive crank, but rather that it will add extra drain during crank. On top of that, I'd rather have the music shut off during crank for a second.
