Impala sound system

I'm going to keep my stock head unit for now as it controls warning tones and also other aspects of the car. Plus I'll still have radio and steering wheel controls. I know there are other ways to retain these but right now this is the cheapest easiest way to start with.

Ok here is my question, apperantly GM ran wire to the trunk for a cd changer. The connection between this wire and the radio is right under the glove box. Like this:

The connector is hidden behind the carpet. Connector 1 leads to the CD changer plug in the trunk. Connector 2 leads to the radio. Carefully remove the tape holding the connectors to the harness and plug them together.

Is there anyway to wire two RCA plugs off of this connection in order to connect the pc without have to buy the $69 adapter?

I found this:

This is a circuit diagram with the wire colors.

Here is the harness connections that Mediumfry provided:
Pin 1 orange/black remote playback device left audio signal.
Pin 2 lt green remote playback device right audio signal.
Pin 3 Lt Blue Remote playback device audio common signal.
Pin 4 bare drain wire.
Pin 5 orange Battery positive.
Pin 6 not used.
Pin 7 black wire ground.
Pin 9 and 8 unused.
Pin 10 Gray wire Audio Class 2 Serial Data.

Hi, sorry i dont have your answer, however, I wanted to remind you to check e-bay for that 69.00 wire. I found my "Mitah" wire for about 15.00 instead of the usual 25.00.

Good luck. Surely someone here might be able to help you better
