this has got to be the dumbest argument ever. Whats next, parking your ford focus in your living room, kicking open the doors and jammin out some metallica all because the stock radio sounds pretty good and its cheaper than buying some home speakers? Oh and have fun lengthening all the proprietary din cables and such. Imo computer speakers are a ******* joke any way you slice it. I will never buy any audio gear from a company that makes webcams, mice, and keyboards. Home stereo gear can be had for just as much money and it will outperform and outlast pc speakers barr-none.

Pc speakers are meant to sound decent when you are seated 2-3 feet in front of them and the subwoofer is right next to your feet.

didn't read the whole thread. but here are my $0.02:

the parameters of computerspeakers won't match with the effects the construction of a car has on the sound. the sub in such speakers is realy no more than a kickbass-speaker and comes nowhere near the pressure a sub reproduces.

i'm not, probably. i'm aware of that, but i'll take the risk, rather than read ten pages first, yes.

the time it takes to read it all, still stays the same, doesn't it? so it wouldn't make a difference anyways. i'm not going to read a whole topic (call it lazyness if you will) to get to the conclusion the answer has already been given. that would be a big wast of time (as this discussion is also).

Welcoem to the wonderful world of post-whoring.

Actually, it takes me less time to read a thread, becaus eI'm not having to stop & click on a link to go to the next page every ten posts or whatever.

if the RIGHT answer has been given (thus, if there's no room left for discussion), close the whole thing down.... but that's just my two cents.
