I've used a toothpick with a dot of crazy glue to extract broken keys & such...

maybe if you bang the amp repeatedly on a hard surface you can get it to pop out the pin.... either that or the centrafuge aproach could work as mentioned already, just wire tie it to one of your rims & go for a blast on the highway...

I know a girl who could suck it out, no problem.... but that'll cost you a $100

you guys are a bunch of monkeys

Here's the best way to remove a broken male rca pin in a female rca plug:

1.) Find a needle (like the one ya mammy used to hem your church pants)

2.) On a hard surface, bend the very tip of the needle slightly so that it forms a tiny barb.

3.) heat the tip of the needle with a lighter until it glows red hot.

4.) stick the needle into the plastic core of the broken RCA pin

5.) wait a few seconds for it to cool

6.) pull the needle out, and the broken tip should follow!

Steps 3 & 4 you have to do really quick or the needle will cool down to early...make sure you got a steady hand or you will have to repeat until you get it in.

You will see that this method works like a charm!!! All the rest is a bunch of nonsense. Why do you need a soldeirng gun or a matchstick and puddy??? You monkeys would fail at the MacGyver School of Survival...

Broken Male RCA tip in female socket

Thanks for your help in solving a worrisome problem. I tried super glue and it didn't work. I drilled out the end of the RCA TRS jack using the front end as guide, after removing the guts. Then a long panhead screw with coarse threads the right size grabbed and allowed me to extract the stub on the first try.

This was for a Fender Frontman 15G amp. There is only one auxiliary socket, intended for earphones. When the jack is connected the external speaker is silenced: a big problem for an electric solid body guitar.

Disaster was averted!
