"Noise "only from back connector

Yesterday I finally had the time to place my case there where I wanted (in the trunk)
Last 3 weeks I was driving with the PC case on the passangers floor.
Unitl yesterday every was running well. Sound was good without any problem.

But now I have a really strange problem.

I use a 4.1 PCI soundcard. The front speakers are connected to the front-out, and the back speakers to the rear-out put.
If I connect the jack in the rearout-put I hear a very strange noise when the music is off.
When the front jack is connected to thr front-output the sound is not here.
Because I wanted to be shure the the problem came from the cables (maybe running to close to the power cables, I connected the front jack in to the rear out-put. Noise then came back
If I connect the rear jack in to the front out-put noise is gone.

So what I think is that the rear out-put conector is the problem.
Because If it was one of the cables I would have this noise also when I connected the jack in the front-output.

So this is the problem:

frontjack in front out-put , no problem
front jack in rear out-put, NOISE
rear jack in front out-put, no problem
rear jack in rear out-put , NOISE

What could cause this NOISE.

Case Is grounded through the M1-ATX powersupply. This one is connected to the ground of the car.

Like I said, befaore I moved the case the problem wasn't there

Is there an onstar box or anything else in your trunk which might give off RF?

I don't think its the connector. The only thing that changed was you moved where the PC was located. That means, I assume, you rerouted the wires when you moved the PC. Do you get the noise both when the engine is running AND when the engine is turned off?

Could it be the ground of one of your cables is fubar'd?

Are you sure you are using the output jack and not a line-in?

Soundcard is a Sweex 4.1 . I use the black out-put as REAR one, and green as FRONT.

Cables are running next to each other.
If thats a problem why does the NOISE not come up when I connect the FRONT output only.
Thats why I want to find out if the proble lies somewhere else
