This may not be usefull at all to you, but I just want to give you my opinion..

When I was upgrading my car audio the first time, I didn't want to spend too much money, sorta like you i'm assuming. I got some Pioneer speakers, which I figured would be nice (pioneer sucks for speakers.) I spent about 50~ aswell, and I swear they were the worst speakers I have ever heard in my life, my stock speakers were SO MUCH better than them, and they were 11yr old RIPPED paper speakers.

I would REALLY recomend going with 6.5" components in the front, and nothing for the back. and spend GOOD money on the front, I hear the alpine type r components are good.

good luck. you make take my info lightly, but I think whatever you do, it will some how let you learn, which is good.. srry that doesnt make sense im tired..

well, if you were to $185 (shipped) you could get CDT EF-51neo which are 5.25" components. You would definetly not regret it, if you bought 'em. They'd be better than both all 4 of those speakers. Just disconnect your rear speakers, and use a frontstage.

djdilliodon on aim, he's an autherized dealer for CDT and will give you that great price.. i'm not advertising for him or anyhting but I have delt with him and he's a cool guy.

If you want the biggest change in sound, than add a sub first. Just swapping speakers may change the sound but you are not adding anything you are missing in your current set up

Your factory headunit does not have RCAs.

as the above post says you do not have any RCAs on that headunit, but you could get one of those aux input converters. i think crutchfield had one for $60. circuit city carries them too.

I have the Accord LX as well (this year, 06) and would like to hook-up an Aux Input Converter too. Does anyone know exactly where or what kind of hook-up I will connect the Convertor to in the Accord's HU?

Thanks!

If you decide on upgrading the fronts Ive never heard anything but good about the cdt's for the money they are great though I would suggest stepping to the EF-61neo if. just beause if your not going to be running a rear set the play a little lower and will give you a little more fuller sound stage
