Vw Oweners Help

Hi

recently I Installed a pc in my 02 jetta. but i have some problems with it.

First let me tell you what I did, I bought a Small Hp Computer that i put in my trunk then i bought a Tview touch screen and some other things. Before I put a pc in my car I had a Xpload Cd-changer with sound Gate converter so I just connect it to the Existing Cd chnger Wires. After Installing the Pc in the Car I used the sound Gate Converter so I connect it to the pc. My Problem is now I have My moonson Player laying where the pedal is. what I am trying to do is to eleminate the moonson player and connect a Amp and a Subboofer in the back.

I know tha my English is sucks, I am sorry .

I took a few pics so you have an idea what I am talking about.

Thats my screen and you can see left side down my cassette player

here is another pic of it

Here is the pc

Here is how I did my Audio

Plz help

Your volkswagen has a factory amplifier which makes it a bit more difficult to do what you want. If you remove your head unit you will need another way to control and connect to this factory amplifier. There is a thread in the FAQ section all about this.

http://mp3car.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=63879

Another option is to completely remove this factory monsoon amplifier, but because this is an 8 speaker system it is probably easier to leave it alone and just get a new amp only for the subwoofer.

Also, here is the radio wiring diagram for your jetta, but I think the FAQ above will be much more helpful to you.

i went with another solution, as I wanted to keep my headunit for direct input and radio purposes.

I will try and take better pictures sometime soon, but essentially all I did was put the radi where the ashtray was. This will require some creative work but it is possible.

Where I have circled in red i bolted a double L bracket on to hold the radio up to the cage. Again, I will take better photos (of the completed version) soon.

You will have to locate the factory monsoon amplifier. This thread I mentioned earlier about using the monsoon system should have all the information you need to wire it.

http://mp3car.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=63879

Looks like you need to buy a amplifier harness adapter, a 5volt regulator and some other stuff. Seems like most of the hard work has already been done (figuring out signals and what not), except perhaps the pinout thing. You may need to search a bit for that. (Wiring Diagram PDF above might come in handy)

Good Luck.
