How can I fix this...

I was just wondering if I could solder speaker wires together, or any other method of easily attaching the wires back together.

I ask because I purchases and recieved some used infinity kappa rear speakers, and when I got the box, it looked like a football team had used it for a ball one practice. Now the speakers were in pretty good condition, but one of the tweeters on the speaker had broke off. To my knowledge, the tweeter itself is fine, but broken off from the speaker, and it just needs to be put back on.

THe problem is that the wires are so small, it would be impossible for me to attach the wires again and still be able to glue it back to the speaker. The pictures should help...

any suggestions? it's used so asking for a new one really wont result in much and other than this the speakers are in good shape and sound great

extend the wires a bit by soldering then and use small heat shrink and then just tuck the extra wire back under the tweeter were that pipe goes through the midbass drivers voice coil

heat shrink tubing is what he is refering to. It has many uses, mostly used when you solder two wires together, the tubing is first slipped over and down one of the wires, then you solder the wires together, then you slide the tubing over the freshly soldered wires, heat it up with a heat-gun, lighter, etc, and it shrinks to cover the wires snugly and neatly, far superior to just taping them with electrical tape.

here is what it looks like

yea there is what looks like a lot of room in there, so just make longer wires and then tuck them into there
