XM help PLEASE

I also have an Aopen mini pc and XM Direct that I purchased from MP3 store. I've activated the service and I've left it running for at least 30 minutes but I still get nothing. I've sent a refresh signal and still nothing. I tried using the mic input with the line in plugin but still nothing. I tried using the line out without the plugin and still nothing. I get a blinking led but that's about it. I downloaded the trial version of Timetrax and it doesn't find my set up. Device Mgr shows the XM on com port 4 and that is what I have set in RR. I've been told that I should see the name of the song playing if I am indeed getting a signal but I don't see anything but generic info.

I am also using XPort for my GPS and I'm wondering if that may be interfering;it's using COM 3 and splitting it to 5 and 6.

Any help is greatly appreciated

the xm shouldn't show up in the device manager at all, imo

Make sure you don't have a serial mouse listed, and if you do, just disable the device, don't uninstall it. If you uninstall it, it'll come back. If you just disable the device, it stays there, but won't interfere with the XM.

what USB? Is it the XM that's USB, or are you using a USB to Serial adapter?

Dam! Still no XM. I've tried everything and the closest I've come is listening to the preview channel but no more. I've verified my unit is activated and have sent the refresh signal several times. After messing around with it in RR I can't even listen to the freaking preview. For some reason when I select a station it plays one of my mp3's (WTF). Also when I installed the trial version of Time Trax it cannot find my XM unit, I get an error message saying someting like "cannot locate, make sure it's on and no other program is using it".

Can someone please help?

Run down
*Aopen Pandora
*XM
*downloaded drivers from XM Store
*Serial to USB adapter (No serial mouse listed anywhere in device mgr)
*Tried Line in plug in
*Also went directly into pc line in (disabled line in plugin)
