reconnected puter and now audio problem..

Hey Guys,

I tried searching, but mabey am not typing the correct wording in the search. Mabey you can help...I had my puter down for quite some time and when I recently re-connected it, I'm now getting an audio problem that I never had. Every minute or two my audio freeses for a second. It's not the biggest problem, but it's very annoying. Im using audigy nx usb audio which is connected to a non powered usb hub....I should try to connect it directly to the back of the mobo and see if the problem persists, but I wanted to see if anyone could diagnose a potential prob. here first. I definately do not mean to waste your time, but if you knew the carputer probs i've been through in the last year.....you'd probably just laugh at me. Long story short...I have everything in place and it would be REALLY hard for me to even do the simple check of the usb hub. If any of you think that may be the problem, I'll gladly try to switch the cable, but only if it's absolutely necessary. 3 broken 12" touchscreens, 2 mobos, and 2 harddrives and 2 video cards later I made it this far....By the way im using a m10000 and opus 150w. I'm also running a linxus WIFI and usb keyboard and usb touchscreen all connected to a non-powered usb hub. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!! Thanx in advance!

has anything changed in your hardware configuration from the last time you had it installed?

i've read in a few threads that folks have had similar audio issues with pcmcia wifi nics, but you say yours is usb..

Thanks for the reply T!
no..nothing has changed...I just reconnected everything as I had it before..I felt it may be the usb hub because sometimes it doesn't hibernate properly and I believe it is also from the usb...
