Hey all,
I'm planning on soundproofing / sound deadening (whatever the correct term is) my car. I'm planning on using the material from
http://www.b-quiet.com/ (primarily because it's slightly cheaper than Dynamat, and 'cause they're in Canada, so I can eBay it for cheap). Anyway, I'm curious if anybody's ever done this: it's still not cheap, and I want to know if it's worth doing the floor of the car or not.
I'm currently planning on doing the 4 doors and probably putting a bit in the pillars. I'm sure you all know how the floor is done (with the felt carpet and all), but I don't think there's any real soundproofing on it.... is it worth doing it, or not? It would essentially double my cost, and I'd like to hear opinions of people who actually did it to see if it was worth it.
They also sell composite foam for noise reduction. Anybody have any experience with that?
Thanks very much for any opinions!
