not sure if you found what you were looking for, but this is what I did for my wintv-usb2 setup. goes from coax (for fm) to a motorola plug for the car antenna. I just took a 3' piece of coax, bought a solderable motorola plug from radio shack, soldered it on and this is what I ended up with. works great

Well I still have yet to throw it in the car. I just made the cable for it and tested it in the house... I'm still debating on getting a 6v dc-dc power supply or just running it off 5vdc via my M2-ATX or Carnetix1900. Once I figure out what I'm doing there I'll install it and have more to comment on it.

actually I do have it embedded into my road runner skin, so on the software side we're cool. I just haven't gotten around to seeing if it'll run off 5vdc ok or not.

Yeah they are pretty small. What I did was recreate the buttons in a larger size at the bottom of my skin and then used AUTOIT to create scripts that 'pressed' the real buttons. Worked great in the house... lol now just to figure out my power issue when I have the time and get it all hooked up and tested.

It looks like that is indeed the odd plug on my antenna, but I don't think it will help me except to extend the antenna. What I have to figure out is how to get a female receptace for that plug to coax (or BNC, now that I have the other parts ya'll showed me).
And yeah, for those of you wondering in this same thread, I am currently running my WINTV off the 5v and my M2-ATX and it seems fine.

Getting that part should be all you need then. You can take it and either use it with the parts I showed you or cut the Chrysler end off and perform the mod that Shadow showed you.

lol well I was/am creating my own skin anyways... lol so I figured what the hell... why not
So it will run on off of 5vdc. :-\ I'm just curious if the reception could be weaker because of a lower voltage input causing the components to not function quite like circuit is designed. Well I"m off tomorrow for 3 days, so I think I'm gonna pick up a small dc/dc power adapter that has multiple voltage outputs from 12vdc. They've usually been pretty cheap from radio shack.
