Question about a laptop to panasonic head unit... and amp....

I need to know if there is a small amp that can go in between a laptop and a panasonic head unit..

Right now, i'm using a mini out of the laptop to a head unit direct in, and with the audio all the way up on the laptop and in the car it's ok, but not loud enough....

Is there a small amp that can just take RCA in and RCA out to be in between there that would amplife the sound a little more?

What you might want to do is amp up your front speakers. The HU might not be sending enough juice to them.

Also, another thing that it could be is that the sound card on your laptop sucks. I would reccomend getting an external USB sound card. Search the forums to see what other people are using.

What you are asking for is a line driver. Several out there but Rafster has some good points (and a hot avatar)
