Small AMP Board (AMP3 Alternatives)

I am looking for a small amp that I would be able to fit inside of a case along with other computer components. The only one I seem to be able to find is the AMP3 from 41hz.com.

I am looking at a total of 4 channels with a minimum of 35w rms per channel. If anyone knows of a board (even if i can use 2x2 channel amps) please let me know.

about 22W per channel 1% THD @ 14.4V. if you really want more power, they have 8 channel version (size 20x7 cm), and you should be able to parallel channels to get 4.

By the time you get your amp, and a power supply you're likely to pay more than just buying a used receiver. Not to mention you're throwing efficiency out the window by converting to 12v.

That looks like an awesome amp, however, it is 195eur which is around 281cad and I still have to get a power transformer. Do you know of anything a little cheaper? Or is that what I should expect to pay for a good quality amp like this?

So are you saying i should use the amplifier board from a home reciever? The one problem I see with that I the size of the units. They are tons bigger then the AMP3 and space if definitely an issue here.

kmstech, the chip they use should run @12V, you can feed unregulated battery power to it I believe. email them to make sure. yeah, it's not cheap, but it's powerful.
