carputer and amp wiring

I'm going to put an amp and my carputer in the back of my xterra. What gauge power wire is recommended if I want to run only one wire back and split it to the two electronics? Or is that a bad idea?

to answer that, we really need to know how many amps are going to be flowing through the wire. what are the fuse ratings on the amp and the psu?

you can run one wire and split it with a fused distro block w/o a broblem. I have one wire running 3 amps, an active x-over, and the computer

check out www.knewkonceptz.com for good wire at a great price.

its just a 50x4 alpine amp and a carputer that doesnt pull too much juice. I like the idea of the distro block. the link you added is down.
Thanks
