I have a clarion dxz955mc head unit. There are an abundance of settings on this unit for sound and I don't understand what the majority of them are used for. I plan to pair this deck with a memphis belle six channel amp. This amp is extremely powerful, however, i know if i don't get the stereo sound settings correct, there is really no point in putting all this into my car.
The owners manual just tells you how to adjust everything, but doesn't tell you why you'd want to make these adjustments.

sorry...but how did you find this site and why did you decide to post on a car computer forum instead of a regular car audio forum? i've noticed an increasing amount of people coming to this site and asking non computer related questions. not that we dont have knowledgable people here but you'd get quicker responses in a dedicated car audio forum. just trying to get some insight on why people sign up and ask us instead of other forums...care to enlighten us?

If you don't need/want/know what the adjustments are dfor, why would you buy a high-dollar headunit with all that functionality in the first place?!?!?!
