Weird Noise from subbie, NOT ENGINE REV

hi...

I have a computer in the car..

It has a Auddigy 2ZS 7.1 ch snd

The front/side/rear sound great..
but the subbie is making this wweird pulse noise..
The engine is off, subbies rumble to no music playing.. and also can hear the HDD or CPU Usage throu the woofers.

any ideas? I have tried unplug then replug the subbie cable! noise still happens

how's your sub being filtered? since you're hearing the HDD through it i would guess you're filtering it too high (should be somewhere between 30 and 70Hz LPF).

edit: damn, I made this post 3 days ago and i only see a tipo just now...

I used to get that while I was using the onboard sound or a usb external sub. It didnt bother me to much but once I went digital I didnt have any other problems with ambient pc noise
