getting sound from rears only with kenwood KVT-911DVD

I am trying to figure out how to get the audio to the front and rears. I am only hear the rears. below is the image of the processing unit and I have tried every configuration to get audio out both the F and R. If anyone is familar with the Kenwood KVT-911DVD I would much appreciate it.

Are you using external amplifiers? Stock speakers? Factory amp? Got more than one set of preouts hooked up? You really didn't give much info dude.

Not much of a guru when it comes to audio.. I have stock speakers, stock amp, the HD and the processing unit that came with it. What do I need to look for? Then maybe I get myself on the right direction.

One way to test out if you are even getting signal out of the headunit is to take a spare speaker and hook it up to the output of the rear signal lines.

I'd suggest bypassing the stock amplifiers. It makes no sense to double amplify the signal, Headunit->Stock amp->speakers. You'd most likely get distortion by doing that. You're factory amp may be busted as far as the rear outputs.

Well here is the thing the fronts and rears work fine when I am not using the carpc. If I want to use the carpc it only comes out of the rear and I still can listen to the radio through the front and rear at the same time. This HD has a million settings and I just can't figure it out. someone told me if I get the DSP 5.1 (http://www.bassjunkies.com/text_only...-KDS-P900.html) unit that you can buy as an addon for the excelon then that would solve my problem. I just want to make sure before I go out and spend $$$ on another piece of hardware.

Oh I see...
Well i'm not to familiar with the unit so I wouldnt be able to help much. the only thing I'd check because some higher end kenwoods have a setting for "zone 2" or something like that. So It may definitly my be setting.
If anything I'd suggest talking to kenwoods tech support for an immediate answer

Yes, it does have the Zone 2 setting and I played with that and same story. I think making a quick call on Monday to Kenwood as you suggested will hopefully fix my issue or cost me more $$$...

Thanks for you help.
