Where to palce Head Unit Ideas
now that I placed the touch screen where the radio use to be. I have placed the radion in the glove box but I was wondering if there is any other spot to place the head unit on a 1998 eclipse.

Or go to a eclipse forum to get ideas. They will have a better understanding of where to put things because of internal space. BTW, for a forum like this, add pics of the dash. So we can comment on it. Not everyone knows what your dash looks like.

put it in your *** and UTFS! for gods sake, what's with al these nOObs? NO we won't spoonfeed you!
you kno, if you're even to lazy to be creative and look for a good place yourself, you shouldn't even think about replacing it, because that might be hell of a job!

Well i possed it both as a joke and an answer.
I was actually considering it for a set up for my friend. I mean if you can have a drop down screen on the ceiling...why not an HU as well.

if its done right, a drop down from the roof would be awesome (like for the RUX 701) lol, make it look OEM and like the normal ceiling
that would be very neat to do lol (pain in the *** most likely, but very neat idea)

kinda like the second one lol, i was thinking more of a drop down kind of spring loaded thingy (for the RUX controller which wouldnt need to be accessed that much). like on some cars they have the sunglasses drop down box that drops down if you push on it to release the latch
