Car Cassette Adapter for Sony Network Walkman Problem

I have Sony Network Walkman NW-E505 512 MB. I have attached it with car audio system with Car Cassette Adapter. I have copied MP3 songs of 256kbps. But when I played the songs noise is bursting or noisy. On the other hand when I played songs through cassette. It works normal. Now where is the problem, is it in car cassette adapter or in MP3 songs?

I would put my money on the adaptor, you didn't get it from a $1 store did you? They're generally a bit poo, I'd go for a head-unit with aux-in, or see if yours has one, but it's only a tape player, so I doubt it.

If not, build a PC into the car!

Oh, and 256kbps is fine, although I usually use 320kbps
