That's what I was getting at. Your opinion isn't based on anything that's relevant to the OP.
This all depends on brand and enclosure.
To state that you like 10s really has no basis.
If you had said: I like X brand 10s over X or Y brand 12s or 15s. THEN it would have been a valid statement.
To make a blanket statement that a certian size sub is better then to not validate it, really holds no ground.
Another example.
We went with the 6.5" Be for the kicks in our car, because of their response.
However, because we are not able to get a full .7-.8 cu. ft. of air space for them, they don't work worth a damn for us.
If I stated that I liked 6.5" drivers for mid base more than any other size, and didn't give a validation, there's simply no point to giving an opinion.
Don't take it personal, please. It's just something I'm tired of seeing. People have opinions all day long, that will never change. However, to make those around aware that an opinion without validation is nothing more than talk is vital to improving the value of this forum.
