car speakers info

orite.
i dont know anything about cars

i bought speakers off a mate. 200W each. dont know what kind they are.
i have a **** kenwood cdplayer 4x10w
i had 4 standard speakers in the car which came with the car.

the 2 front speakers work fine when i turn it up full volume (100), but when i bring in the back rear speakers aswell i can only turn it up to about 60 then they just dont come on.

but when i turn on just the back speakers alone it still doesnt go up to 100.
i dont want a really loud sound system i just want to listen to my music at a good volume.
will i need to get an amp or just a new cdplayer.
if i need anything, can u give me full spec please

As soon as you hook up a computer to those speakers, we'll be happy to give you a call!

You never found that link, did you? Why? It's hard to find in the NavBar across the top of the forums, amongst a lot of other crap.

TELL MP3CAR YOU WANT A LINK TO THE FAQ IN A MORE OBVIOUS, NOTICABLE LOCATION HERE.

The car audio forum is dedicated to integrating your car audio system with your CarPC.

For specific questions related to car audio equipment systems that do not include CarPCs, I would recomend checking out car audio specific forums:

http://www.elitecaraudio.com
http://www.carsound.com
http://www.caraudioforum.com
http://forum.sounddomain.com
http://www.realcaraudio.com
http://www.carstereo.com

http://www.termpro.com
http://www.the12volt.com
http://www.talkaudio.co.uk
http://www.caraudiosecurity.com
et. al.

There is a chance that someone on here might have an answer for you, I would just hate for you to wait around for it when I know you could get an answer much quicker on a dedicated forum.

Good luck.

also, demanding that people should get back to you is one sure fire way to not get any responses.

Hi - I see you got a lot of help there....

Yes those other forums can probably help how ever I would say your head is a bit under powered for those speakers.... you may want to replace it as they are not that expensive now a days.

@ Mods - Personally while I under stand the reason of directing to other forums I don't see whats wrong with having general audio questions in here... but hey - up to you.

I know my 'wit and sarcasm' are often misconstrued, but I think an interesting analogy would be walking into the Betty Ford clinic and asking how much an 06' Explorer with leather trim costs. Similar title, but not quite where you need to go.
