Alpine Filter?

Hi, My friend has a Alpine CDA-9827 deck he is trying to sell and I am interested. So we hooked it up in my car and while the car was off the deck sounded perfectly fine... but when the car was on the sound was sort of staticy so we made sure all the connections were set up right and they were... after that we decided to take it to Car Toys by my house and have it checked out. So the guy came out and listened to it with the car started and car off and said that alpine decks come with a like small filter box in the back of the deck by the power wires that was some sort of filter to filter out sound it picked up from the alternater. Does anyone know where I could get one of these and what exactly are they called? Or some other alternative?

the only "box" my alpine has is the fuse box. Is the power wire run straight to the battery?

Most Alpines had a HUGE RF choke on the factory harness. You can get RF chokes from PartsExpress.

Would not having an RF Choke be the reason I hear static from my system while my car is started and not when its off? I found Noise Filters/Chokes at the site but when you say HUGE how many amp's do you recommend for the deck? (CDA-9827 Alpine) Sorry if im annoying you with my questions

Here is some links i have found, which do you suggest?
http://www.partsexpress.com/pe/showd...number=079-044

http://www.electronixwarehouse.com/c.../noise-sup.htm

The second link is for amps.... the choke is only for my deck... im lost..

After further searching I found a RF Choke for sale here:

Would this work better perhaps?
