Simple Problem, BIG headache!
I have been experimenting with the creative xmod as my car pc sound option.
It is perfect for me in every way except one. You cannot "monitor" the line-in channel. This means you have to record sound, then play it to hear what is coming in, it can't be done in real time....
This is a show stopper for FM, XM receivers that rely on the line input.
Does anyone know of software that will sample and buffer the line in on the xmod and play it at a slight delay from real time?
Alternatively, i still have the onboard sound in addition. Is there any cross sound card mixer that can take the line in from onboard and play it over my xmod?
