One advantage with a car PC is that you can buy an external USB audiocard.
This you place right next to the poweramp (common ground) that you also need. That will make the cables very short and you avoid whining and noise.
Cables and adapters for analog audio is a piece of cake that any dealer can help you out with. Same with speakers, even if you might need to rewire them.
Remote wire to turn of and of poweramp are in my case generated from power supply in car pc. In else, one wire going out from car pc connects to poweramp. (and in my case enable input for 5V dc/dc converters that supply usb hubs etc)
Unfortunately this delay might be a bit short. My pc generates a bumb quite late in its boot, when the remote is already active. I need an extra delay for this reason. Simple electronics that a dealer can help you out with too. That applies if you have not got a remote control output from your pc too.
good luck
