Audio bleed problems: HCRT to MP3 player
I'm in the process of installing a carputer system in a new Toyota Tacoma and am to the point of debugging all the components prior to slamming them in. I am running an EPIA MII 10000 motherboard (M2-ATX PS) under a Roadrunner front end, and have a HQCT attached via the panel's line in jack. I am noticing a bit of a problem with what appears to be audio bleed-through.
The HQCT seems to work fine, but when I then switch to the Roadrunner audio player to play MP3s off the hard drive, I can still hear the HQRT playing very low in the background. If I pause the audio player, the HQRT is quite noticeable.
I understand there's an ini setting that mutes the HQRT when it's minimized. But if I use that, won't it cut off the radio if I'm viewing my GPS application (iGuidance)?
Another option I could do might be to use the CD input on the motherboard. Would this be a better way to go? Any thoughts on eliminating this bleed-through would be appreciated!
